In Español, how do you talk your way out of a speeding ticket? Let's say you were caught speeding in Madrid if their is such a thing?

In Mexico you'd want to pay "La Mordida". I think it's the same in Spain.

I don't know about Spain, but I know "propinas" grease the wheels in general in Latin America. - KevinB, Nov 30, 2010

Oficial, Estoy en camino al lecho de mi santísima madre a quien está al punto de fallecer.La cura me dijo que me dara prisa porque no le queda mucho tiempo. Le ruego que me deje pasar.....

Officer, I am on the way to my dear mother's death bed, she who is about to pass on. The priest told me to hurry because she doesn't have much time. I beg you, let me pass!

(In my career, I have fallen for some beauties! far less emotional than this one!)

If you've crossed the line, you'll probably end up paying, but you can always try Joe's suggestion. You never know.

P.S. The word "español" is written in lower case.
