What would be a good translation for "I love you man" In the context of a good friend or what you say to a good buddy when you have had a few. Non offensive in the Spanish world

You could say "me gustas hombre" which means 'I like you'....I would be careful, though, because it could be taken the wrong way.

If you say "te quiero" or "te amo" (traditional ways of saying 'I love you') it will most definately be taken the wrong way!

According to my text book, gustar when it is used with people, means you're attracted to them. Maybe you should avoid that. lol It says to use caer instead. It would be: ¡Me caes muy bien, hermano! Which pretty much means what you're asking for.

Your textbook exagerates. It's not that simple. - samdie, Nov 30, 2010

Maybe you should just stick with something like 'eres fenomenal' or 'sí que eres un buen tipo' LOL LOL LOL
