The thickness of paper

Hi, could some one tell me if these four lines are grammatically correct:
Parece que la muerte impone lejanía infinita que te drena tanta alegria pero verás que la distancia entre tu y él no tiene la profundidad ni de este papel.
most specifically, is there a better word for thickness when it refers to paper than profundidad?

Thank you for your response. Would it be incorrect to say
la grosidad de este papel
could one say instead
es tan fino come este papel
to mean
the distance is as thin as this paper
?
