I saw this printed sign in my bank. The text is: Nosotros te explicamos cómo puedes rendir su dinero a las fiestas. I interpret this as: We explain to you how to render (give) your money at the holidays. Since this sentence is not a question, shouldn't cómo actually be como?

Thanks for your answers.

The words que, como, cuando must carry a graphical accent when they express doubt and surprise or emphazis. You don't have to see any ? or ! to put an accent.

  • Hola, ¿cómo estas?
  • Como que estoy triste... No sé cómo ser feliz.

  • Hi, how are you?

  • I'm like sad... I don't how to be happy.

cómo = the way of doing something: I'll tell you how to learn Spanish / Te diré cómo aprender español.

como = expressing guessing or comparison: It was like gold / Era como oro.
