reference- typing Spanish letters

From the reference section here linked above:

For Macs Go to your System Preferences Click on "International" Select the "Input Menu" tab Scroll down to select "Spanish - ISO" Note the keystrokes necessary to switch between languages OR Select "Show input menu in menu bar" to be able to click-select which keyboard you want to use.

I am on a PC, but I found that the English international keyboard allows somewhat slower access to the keys, but less radical change and relearning than switching to a Spanish keyboard- so you might want to consider the different options and select the one that works best for you

On my computer I press AltGr then the n to get the ñ letter.

Also hitting the Alt button, then I, then S (one after the other, not all together) will bring up the Symbols window.

In any MS Word version on any computer (MAC or PC) Go to Insert > Symbols then find the letter or symbol - á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ, ¿, ¡ ( oh and it's called a tilde over the n)

Hey, check out this website. It shoud be able to get you started at least:

Study Spanish: Accents

Jump to the bottom. I'll see if I can find a easier method in the meantime.

Ok, I've looked at a few other websites, but they all basically say the same thing. I hope this is helpful. - Goldie_Miel, Nov 29, 2010

It is not an accent over the n, but a letter. What you are asking is similar to how to you put to V together to get W? Your Mac should have an option to reconfigure the keyboard to be able to type in Spanish.
