Some people say that languages come easily to them. Other people, not so much so.
In spite of this, everyone eventually learns their primary language. Some by the time they are two, others as late as four. Irrespective of learning difficulties, we all overcome them enough to make our needs known, develop a competency in our mother tongue and find our way in society. This proves that we are all capable of learning language.
When your mother taught you your first language, she sat in front of you, spoke slowly and made you say certain words over and over until you got it right. At the time, you were programmed to parrot the sounds you heard around you and that made learning easier. Plus, your mother provided a supportive, intensive environment to learn and English was the only thing you heard around you. Additionally, you might have had older siblings who chattered away at you, helping you practice, reinforcing the language and the ideas behind them in a simple way. You added vocabulary throughout your childhood (and hopefully the rest of your life) and became competent at making yourself understood.
Learning a language will never be so natural again.
To learn another language, we have classes. With them comes homework. This is the bare minimum of practice that you must do on your own for the language to make any sense to you at all.
People say that to really learn a language, you must also make it fun and interesting: learn songs, the culture, play games, make friends with whom you can practice the language. This website can help with all of that. You will have to invest more time in learning, but hopefully, it will be fun.
In life, attitude is everything. If you fell in love with a really attractive person who only spoke Spanish, you wouldn't think it was so annoying to learn. Learning another language opens up a whole new world to you.
Homework is designed to force you to study and practice on your own time. Classroom instruction alone is not nearly enough to become proficient or knowledgeable in anything. If you do not care for Español, you should consider changing your foreign language choice.
It was created to torture students that don't study and apply themselves.
O K my friend now just change your question... Why should I do to improve in Spanish?
You have to work everyday in your mind, using your camera phone, writing on your fridge, chatting, reading some advertising... just learn everyday.
I suppose that if you make it you will learn more, remember that when you are learning another language, the most important part has to be made by you.
Because the teacher can't make everyone move to a Spanish speaking country for the term. If you lived in the culture you wouldn't have to do homework.
Spanish homework was created to help provide a deeper understanding of the subject.
What does he mean by saying rubbish?
