I'm having trouble understanding this line form a song, so if you could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

"Nado entre el concepto ser o estar, Si soy lo que siento, siento que no estás.."

I'm swimming between the concept for to be or to be? I don't understand please help.

Translating songs is always difficult because there are many metaphors and expressions, this particular fragment has another issue that foreigners have with spanish, the exact translation of "ser" and "estar", there isnt an exact word that can define these two words, because when used in sentences they are translated into "be" or any of his forms, so when they are together (this case), it can be misunderstood the real meaning of the sentence. "Ser" Is like "Be permanently" and "estar" it should be like "be transitory", but this is not 100% accurate. The other part says "If I am what i feel, i feel you are not..", This is an uncomplete sentence because it is missing a place, so it should be "If i am what i feel, i feel you are not (here)" which in spanish would be "Si soy lo que siento, siento que no estas (aqui)"

The most accurate translation of this fragment is "I Swim between the concept of being forever and being right now. If I Am what i feel, i feel your are not (here)."

I hope I explained myself in an easy way.

I swim between the concept of being forever or being right now. If I am what I feel, I feel what you don't [what you aren't feeling]. This is my take on the literal translation, but I have a feeling there is something more idiomatic here. Maybe a native Spanish speaker can enlighten us.
