How do I make accent marks?
I have read other posts on how to make accent marks on a Windows computer, but I use Ubuntu.
Is there some special code that I can use to make these accent marks?

Mac Users
To get accents on the Mac....
*hold down the Option key, and while holding it down, type the letter e; then release those keys and type the letter that you want the accent to appear on, for example....
á = Opt + e, then a
é = Opt + e, then e
í = Opt + e, then i
ó = Opt + e, then o
ú = Opt + e, then u
ñ = Opt + n, then n
ü= Opt + u, then u
The inverted punctuation marks are achieved as follows:
¡ = Opt + 1
¿ = Opt + shift + ?

The Vikingo Windows solution for handling special characters will not likely work under Ubuntu. I have researched your question at the Ubuntu site and found this page containing user questions similar to yours. Ubuntu is an international operating system and likely contains it's own method of handling specialized characters. You may need to buy and international keyboard.
Check it out. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know the answer to this, but would Vikingo (see Moe's answer on that thread) work with Ubuntu?
It's excellent with Windows.
