Hi I am trying to say that the spanish are wealthier than the irish and I am not sure whether to use "rico" or "ricos" i.e. "los espanoles son más ricos que los irlandeses". Is is correct to use "ricos" or should I use "rico"?. If anyone can help us out that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Los xxxes is plural, so the adjective must be plural also

If you refer to a group using a singular word like gente, the article and adjective would both be singular.

cuando el sustantivo es plural, entonces el adjetivo va en plural.

cuando el nombre es singular, entonces el adjetivo es en singular.

ej.

español: rico españoles: ricos

mujer: linda mujeres: lindas

camisa: cara camisas: caras
