I placed the same question in the translation box of the machine and it gave me an answer I am not saying that it was correct, just that it does give you an answer and it did not ask me for a question field.

A question field is the area or sphere connected to your question eg general discussion or grammer It could also perhaps mean that it was asking for a context ie to be placed in a proper sentence

For example: Bob told me he was between a rock and a hard place last tuesday when he was forced to choose between his job and his wife.

I hope this helps grin

El equivalente en mi país de origen (México) sería, Estar entre la espada y la pared, Entre dos situaciones de igual peso para una persona, para la cual es difícil decidir.

Hi T, and further to what Feliz has told you - since you have such an interesting phrase you can simply go under the 'More' tab and paste 'rock' into the phrasebook, you will find your answer there! Good luck. grin
