"little strokes fell great oaks"
Hi guys,
Is there any Spanish equivalent for the English saying: "little strokes fell great oaks"? meaning: even though something may seem impossible, if you break it up into small parts and take one step at a time, you will succeed.
Thank you,
Carole

Well, about an oak i haven't heard, but there is one very equivalent that says:
La gota de agua perfora la roca, no por su fuerza, sino por su constancia.
and in english is something like :
The water drop drills the rock, not by force, but by its constancy.
I don't know if it already exists but i hope to have helped you,
There is one that conveys that idea. It has different version. Here´s one of them:
¨Con paciencia y con maña, un elefante se comió una araña.¨
