Ukulele, in case I never get the right time on Skype...
I know there are a couple (!) of members who are also interested in music, and I would be happy to play and sing a little on Skype but I always seem to get to it at a time when I would wake other people if I start up with music, so I made a recording which I hope those of you who are interested will be able to access.
My ukulele is very cheap, it's a soprano, in fact it's not even mine, it's my son's! I've been playing it for a few months, so please excuse me for it being hesitant. I've been given to understand that, in our little amateur band with 3 ukus (soprano, tenor and baritone), 1 mandolin and an acoustic bass guitar we have quite a pleasant sound.
(I also have a URL on my profile to a rather badly made video I put on Youtube)

You have such a beautiful voice Sally![]()
Thanks for sharing your song with us ![]()
The song that Q links to, well, there are some errors. For example, Estrellas que brillan por encima de usted should be Estrellas se brillan (por) encima de tí (I think por might be optional, but am unsure).
Because the song mixes use of usted and tú, I would assume it is a machine-made translation and may have other errors that don't necessarily stand out to me.
Also, I wonder if Sueña un pequeño sueño de mí could be said Sueña un sueñito de mí or if there is even a more natural way to say it.
I volunteer to play the mandolin or my bouzouki in your band. ![]()
The Greek bouzouki is like the Irish one ( Only the tuning is different).
I love music, especially folk.. trying los flamencos these days ..
but I have to try hard on Spanish lyrics. ![]()
By the way you look and sound good on Youtube!
Wonderful!
