Is there a perfect placement for the word también? I overheard a native speaker commenting on this word, but I did not hear what the conclusion was. Thanks smile

I don't think so.

Juan también sabe inglés.

Juan sabe inglés tambien.

También Juan sabe inglés.

Those sentences could imply exactly the same thing and neither one is more correct than the other.

There are also English words that can be moved around.

There are English words that can be moved around also.

Also there are English words that can be moved around.

Sometimes you have a better placement, but there is not a perfect placement for any word. In many cases, you will choose word placement to provide emphasis to your sentence according to context.
