Text:

The shop is off West Street.

(The word off is used here because the shop is not actually on West Street; but one can walk two flights of winding steps from the street to get to the shop.)

I suspect that you are looking for some simple, one-word correspondence in Spanish to the use of "off" in English. I know of none. Se acerca de (puede llegar/encontrar a) tal-y-tal tienda pasando/montando por la calle X.

In this case, the actual address would be helpful to know how to say it correctly.

The address won't help. trust me. I live in an old village in Lanzarote. I've used West Street as a substitute name. - peterpierre2, Nov 21, 2010
