"Get stuck"
Hello, I've searched the past questions on this topic and I'd just like to make sure I use this phrase correctly, because I've seen it used quite a few ways. Let's use a bus getting stuck in mud for an example.
I have seen it phrased "El barro atasacó al autobús" (like the mud was doing the action) and "El autobús se quedó atascado." And what about "El autobús se atascó"? Is that more just "The bus was stuck?" What would be more natural/correct? I just need to get this straight in my head before I learn it all wrong =).
And "get stuck" as in "get confused" or "have to stop and think," atorar can be used, correct? "Siempre me atoro cuando trato de hablar demasiado rápido en español"??
Thanks!

Great question Ashlita! I personally like 'quedarse atascado' for stuck in your example for mixed up/confused.
