Hello Duncansryan,

I'm native Spanish from Madrid,

From my point of view it depends of the situation. I just think in English when I have some meeting or I'm speaking with an English speaker.

Nevertheless, when you have some doubt you use to think in Spanish and then find the best way to translate,

I'm a native English speaker, so I typically think in English. But when I'm speaking Spanish I usually think in Spanish, or try to. Translating in your head is too slow. You can never hold a conversation if you have to translate back and forth.

My primary language is English, but when I speak in Spanish I think in Spanish. It's actually kind of hard to switch back and forth; when someone speaks to me in English when I'm in "Spanish mode" I invariably start to reply in Spanish.
