How do you say "pie" in spanish

Well, the translation is "pastel" (cake), but weirdly we say "pie" too, i don't know why, actually if someone had asked me how to write it i wouldn't knew it, i suppose it come from english.

There is another way, it can be "tarta",it is used but not a lot, we really say "Pay de queso" ( lemon pie) or pay de manzana ( apple pie).
