"Patients said language barriers made it much harder to explain symptoms, ask questions, and follow through with filling prescritions".

Muchas gracias, E.A.

"Follow trough" significa concretar algo. En este caso puedes entender lo que se quiso decir sin tomar dicha expresión en cuenta: "Patients said language barriers made it much harder to explain symptoms, ask questions, and to fill prescriptions".
