How do I say 'after a while' in Spanish? (I do not mean 'once in a while' / de vez en cuando.) Here is an example sentence: "After a while you will understand more."

"después de un rato"

And the whole sentence is as follows: "Después de un rato va a entender más."

Perhaps después de un poco tiempo might work well, too :) - FELIZ77, Nov 18, 2010
In my case, replace un rato with unos años :( - lorenzo9, Nov 18, 2010

"Algún tiempo después" is a common literary form.
