Help with sentence structure?

I want to say: "Never in Arráncame la Vida does Andrés take care of his children."

This is what I have: "Nunca en Arráncame la Vida cuida Andrés a sus hijos."

Is that right? Is there a better way to say it?

I like the way you say it, the use of comma could make an improvement:

"Nunca, en Arráncame la Vida, cuida Andrés a sus hijos".

gfreed ir right to say that comprehension should have priority over style, but IMO the sentence is very clear and I like it more (in style) than something like "En Arráncame la Vida Andrés nunca cuida a sus hijos".

Saludos.

I would move the title location in the sentence to where it is not interrupting the expression "never does Andres take care care of his children. Place it before or after, but not in the middle This suggestion concerns both the English and Spanish sentence. Comprehension should have priority over style in both language and writing.

Yeah, I know that it's much more common to write as you suggested, but I want to use this construction to have a different emphasis and tone. (Stylistic preference.) - Soninmyeyes, Nov 17, 2010
Do you know if it's possible to translate that construction? - Soninmyeyes, Nov 17, 2010
