"¿Cómo lo saborea?" it's wrong. To taste is in deed "saborear", but I'm a spanish native speaker and that's just noy the way you say it.

If you are referring to what's the taste of something you should say: "¿A qué sabe?". If you are asking if something is good or bad you should say: "¿Cómo sabe?".

The above answerr is totally wrong and should be unaccepted the verb saber = to know and not to taste. To taste you use the verb saborear. ¿Cómo lo saborea?

So... no offence meant of any kind but can I trust you too? :) thanks for your help - dewclaw, Nov 17, 2010
Well I try to give good advice I am just saying that you shouldn't accept the first answer that comes along, my advice now is look up the verb and it's congugations and take it from there. - kenwilliams, Nov 17, 2010
¿a qué sabe? what does it taste like - dewclaw, Nov 17, 2010
Well there you have it from a native ¿a qué sabe? hope the native knows his grammar as the only refrence to sabe in the dictionary is third person congugation of the verb saber, to know. - kenwilliams, Nov 17, 2010
Well now I realise it's an idiom and the native is of course right but you must admit it was enlightning to throw the question open we wll have all gleaned something from it. - kenwilliams, Nov 17, 2010

You use the word "saber" to talk about food having a taste.

¿Como sabe?

Probar is more accurately "to try" or "to test" something. We can say "try this" when we really mean "taste this".

Sabor is another word related to taste i.e. Tiene sabor a pimienta. It has a tast of pepper.
