Is the restaurant looking good

Es el restaurante buscando bueno???

(My friend is having a extention on his business)

I thought buscando means searching but the dictionary says otherwise...

Many thanks in advance smile

"Is the restaurant looking good" is idiomatic and therefore confusing the translator. If you type "Does the restaurant look good?" you'll probably get "¿Se ve bien el restaurant?"

Perhaps the verb you need to use is Aperecer.

"Buscando" means "looking for", "searching", "trying to find". Your sentence can't be translated literally -it wouldn't make sense in Spanish. What exactly do you mean by your sentence anyway? Is someone decorating a restaurant before the grand opening or what?

Thank you all for your comments and yes Lazarus.. It is being decorated before re-opening in December - helen_wood, Nov 17, 2010

Buscar means "to look for" which would not fit in the context of this sentence. I'm guessing what you really want to ask when you say "Is the restaraunt looking good?" is Is everything okay with the restaraunt? or Is the restaraunt doing well? In this case you could say "Todo bien con el restaraunte?" or "El restaraunte se encuentra bien?"
