I have begun Spanish a week ago and I have some questions about the base. El means he Ella means she Usted means ''it''? But when I looked to dictionary Lo means it.

So, I'm confused about this subject, it's basics about Spanish I know. Can anybody explain '' lo, usted.. '' meaning ?

Usted is not it, it means "you" but in formal speech, like a polite form. So Usted is translated as you in English-.

Muchas gracias! smile

I understood ''usted'' very well, '' El'' is for masculine, ''La'' is for feminine and what about ''Lo'' ?
