Vaanz: You do a great job everyday posting the photos, and I appreciate your hard work. Please don’t get mad at me, but smoking is not a good thing to show. - Rolest, Nov 17, 2010
You're welcome Vaanz! Maybe you can just pretend that he is scratching his mouth Rolest! - amykay, Nov 17, 2010
Sorry Vaanz, I apologize for my comment. It is just that I watched my mother die a slow horrible death slowly suffocating over a 4 year period with emphysema caused from smoking. - Rolest, Nov 17, 2010
It is a horrible way to die Rolest, I've had 2 grandparents and 1 uncle die from smoking. - amykay, Nov 17, 2010
Thanks for the support amykay. I hope a few people here at SD read my comment and your comment, and my answer to the thread, and make a decision to live. - Rolest, Nov 17, 2010
Oh... I'm so sorry Rolest.. I wont post any pics like that... - Vaanz, Nov 17, 2010
I found this very funny... Thats why, I posted it - Vaanz, Nov 17, 2010
Thanks Vaanz. It IS a very funny picture I agree! If only the man wasn’t smoking... (;- - Rolest, Nov 17, 2010

Buenas días guapa y gracias mi amor. - ray76, Nov 17, 2010
But you can't mix 'puedo' and 'lo contemplo'. It's either 'Me encanta .. , puedo contemplarlo todo el día' ('I can watch it all day'), or 'Me encanta.. , lo contemplo todo el día ('I watch it all day') - bill1111, Nov 17, 2010
Great one Ray! - amykay, Nov 17, 2010

Nearly deep enough to give him the old heave ho!

:) Hi, lovely! - cogumela, Nov 17, 2010
If it's the husband talking you can't use "como yo" as he could never be a wife, hehe. - Eddy, Nov 17, 2010
Or 'esposa' in Spanish. I guess in English you could say 'spose' instead? - bill1111, Nov 17, 2010
Hi cogumela ! & Thanks for the correction :)) - 00b6f46c, Nov 17, 2010
Well Eddy I'm sure he wishes to be a wife after all wives are much more helpful than husbands ;) jajaja - 00b6f46c, Nov 17, 2010

It's more common to use 'me' rather than 'para mí' in a sentence such as this one. Either '¿Podrías abrirme otra cerveza, querida? ' or '¿Me podrías abrir otra cerveza..' - bill1111, Nov 17, 2010

This reminds me of an old joke...

How did she get rid of 250 lbs. of unwanted fat? She divorced him.

What's the problem here?

updated Nov 18, 2010

Your Spanish sentence seems more like an honest attempt to ask for an explanation than an ironic remark, because of the 'puede ser'. To say something similar to 'what's the problem? ', I'd say: ¿Qué problema hay?' or '¿Dónde está el problema?' - bill1111, Nov 17, 2010
It's like, "Uh, what's the problem?" jajajaVery good Eddy... - amykay, Nov 17, 2010

I wish they would put a gym on our side of the lake.

The marriage counselor's office is on the other side of the lake. But, I don't have any idea why we are going there.
