what is picador in spanish

I think its an affectionate name for a rough or loud woman. what do u think? & is the spelling correct?

Welcome to the forum. When I hear picador I think of the guys on the horses with the spears that cut the neck muscles of the bulls to make sure the bullfighter always wins. Which means you're probably right.
