Can anybody explain the difference between these words?
Would there be cases where one would be more appropriate, or are they all three synonyms?

Disimular means to hide thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc.
Esconder means to physically hide something.
Ocultar is usually used like esconder, but can also be used for things like feelings or intentions.
