Which is correct? Que es corecto? Eres muy bonita o estas muy bonita?

I can't seem to understand the difference between ser & estar.

The general rule is for caracteristics, use ser.

soy feliz, soy alta, soy gorda...but if they indicate a pure temporary condition :

Estoy gorda, estás guapa (she is very pretty today)

Eres muy bonita. You are very pretty. i.e. naturally pretty. Estás muy bonita. means you look pretty in this moment for example she may be wearing a nice dress that suits her.

The difference in this context is that when using Ser you are saying that she is a beautiful (attractive) person. (inherent quality)

Using Estar you are saying that "she cleaned up nice" or is looking good in her new outfit, new hairdo, etc. (condition or state of being)
