accept

Here are several depending on the context of accept.

You confused me at first, as my eye saw phrasal verbs; not verb phrases.

I don't think that works because they could accept with disdain too. - dewclaw, Nov 16, 2010
So you want a verb phrase that universally agrees in meaning with accept in all of its meanings? I don't think there is one. Agree to take, agree to receive, agree to attend, etc. work in specific instances. - lorenzo9, Nov 16, 2010
Thanks, Lorenzo! That's very helpful for/to me. - cogumela, Nov 16, 2010
