bran cereal
The translator is giving me 'cereal de salvado' for bran cereal. Is this correct?

Technically, yes. In practice, in Spanish supermarkets they are promoted as 'cereales ricos en fibra' or 'high fiber cereal', and they keep the English names ('all bran', etc..), so you need to read the fine print to find the word 'salvado'.
