Tal como quiere saber = I just want you to know

Please tell me if this is right.

Thanks in advance.

The use of "tal" that you're going for is more commonly used to describe a way or something. As in "just" the way you like it, as opposed to here, where you're really saying, "only".

We overuse and abuse the word just.

I think "Tal como quiere saber" translates to "Just as you want to know", which doesn't make much sense to me.

It sure doesn't mean "I just want you to know" which calls for subjunctive, no? - pesta, Nov 15, 2010
Not to mention the I form of querer. . . - lorenzo9, Nov 15, 2010

Welcome to the forum!

The Translation tool on this site is pretty good at this. Give it a try!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As the others have posted, this sentence requires the subjunctive.

"Solo quiero que lo sepas."
