Si encontrara un cofre del tesoro, iría a pescar alrededor del mundo, compraría a todos mis amigos una casa en la costa de Costa Rica y malgastaría el resto en mujeres, vino y coches lujosos. If I found a treasure chest, I would go fishing around the world, I would buy all my friends a house on the shore of Costa Rica, and I would waste the rest on women, wine, and luxurious cars.

Hi pescador, do you need 'compraría a todos mis amigos'? Personally speaking, I often forget the personal 'a' or am uncertain about it. :) - galsally, Nov 15, 2010
Yeah, I missed that. - pescador1, Nov 15, 2010
Well pointed, Gal! Very good sentence, pescador. My only correction is: una casa en la orilla de CR :) - cogumela, Nov 15, 2010
Our fisherman likes the good life, eh ? ;) - cogumela, Nov 15, 2010
Still.. it would sound better to say "en la costa de Costa Rica", even with the word repetition. 'Orilla' can be used to describe the shore of a beach, river.. but not the coast of a country. - bill1111, Nov 15, 2010

This is correct and all, but "sería difícil de encontrar" literally means "would be hard to find". If you meant it as a coincidental find, I'd say "sería un gran hallazgo" - bill1111, Nov 15, 2010
Yes Bill I meant it to mean rare ,as in hard to find , thanks bill. - ray76, Nov 15, 2010
