lynx.....same word in English as in Spanish

Sorry, maybe things changed while I wasn't looking, but the Spanish name for this animal used to be "lince". There are no Spanish words ending in X.

If you resort to Latin, you'll get dozens. Non-biologists call this fish "pez espada". - lazarus1907, Nov 14, 2010

I once knew a dog with a star in it's forehead, it's name was Cedes from Mer[cedes] Benz.

I also saw a cow with a Mickey Mouse shape in it's forehead, we all can guess it's name.

But an animal with an "x" in it, hmm...that's a tough one, especially in Spanish.

Good thinking, but I've always written "tiranosaurus", since the "tirano" part (lord, ruler) is "tirano" in modern Spanish. - lazarus1907, Nov 14, 2010
