My subjunctive sentences
I'm trying to write sentences using the subjunctive, I think i'm getting the hang of this now. There are a couple I was unsure about, please look them over for me, I appreciate it. I have put an english explanation on the sentences I thought may be slightly unclear.
1.Le aconsejo que él limpie su dormitorio.
2.Es importante que él compre ropa nuevo.
3.Es mejor que él encuentre un trabajo.
Sugiero que él vaya a el gimnasio.
Le propongo que él necesite un mentor. I propse that he needs a mentor.
Two more sentences: dos oraciones más:
6.Yo prohibio que él coma dulce. I prohibit that he eats sweets.
7.Yo Espero que él obtena la chica. I hope that he gets the girl.

1.Le aconsejo que él limpie su dormitorio.
The pronoun "él" here is totally unacceptable!
2.Es importante que él compre ropa nuevo.
The pronoun "él" here is totally unacceptable! It should say "nueva".
3.Es mejor que él encuentre un trabajo.
The pronoun "él" here is totally unacceptable!
Sugiero que él vaya a el gimnasio.
The pronoun "él" here is totally unacceptable! You probably have to say "Le sugiero".
Le propongo que él necesite un mentor. I propse that he needs a mentor.
The pronoun "él" here is just ridiculous! The use of the verb seems strange in Spanish. I suggest you use "sugiero" again.
Yo prohibio que él coma dulce. I prohibit that he eats sweets.
The pronoun "él" here is totally unacceptable, and the sentence is too weird. The correct one would be: "Le prohíbo que coma dulces".
Yo Espero que él obtena la chica. I hope that he gets the girl.
The pronoun "él" is unacceptable, and "yo" is a joke in bad taste, sorry. One possible correct sentence: "Espero que consiga a la chica".
I guess you read that hoax that goes like "Subject pronouns in Spanish are optional", right? Well... it is a big hoax, or someone's stupidity. Those pronouns sound profoundly wrong in Spanish. Let me re-write those sentences in English so you can feel how bad they sound:
I advice that he, as opposed to some other people, cleans his bedroom.
It is important that he, as opposed to other people with clothes, buys new clothes.
I, unlike other people with different views, forbid him, as opposed to other people I don't care about, to eat sweets.
You can't talk like this all the time! How long will it take before someone says "Can you please stop making those unnecessary and silly contrasts, please?"
