changing username

Question

I asked earlier how to change my username and was told to go to where my avatar pic is and go to profile, I did this but when I try to change my user ID it also asks for an email address but wont let me use the one I already have. I only want to change my name, not the email, it doesnt seem to let me do that

Maybe you need to set up a new Yahoo email account? It would seem silly that you need to do this when you simply want to change your username.
