To the shop keeper: Quiero comprar estos vaqueros. I want to buy these jeans, or you could say: Me llevo estos vaqueros. I will take these jeans, and if you are telling a friend or someone what you are going to do: Voy a comprar unos vaqueros. I am going to buy some jeans. And if you are at the sales counter about to buy the jeans and a friend calls you on the mobile and asks you what you are doing: En este momento estoy comprando unos vaqueros.

You don't need a definite article and an indefinite article (un y los). Comprar needs to be conjugated. I would say something like this: Estoy comprando jeans y una camisa.

Voy a comprar unos pantalones vaqueros y una camisa. Voy is future tense.

I understand what you're saying, but "voy" is first person singular of IR. I'm sure you know that but for the sake of clarity..... - Jack-OBrien, Nov 14, 2010

Voy a compra los jeans y una camisa. That is my take on it but I'm still a beginner, however, voy is not future tense but present indicitave of the verb ir

"voy" is indeed the present indicative of the verb "ir". However, "ir a" is used to translate when "you are going to " do something, which is the future. So, for example: "I am going to call you" will be: "(Yo) voy a llamarte"

Now it depends on what you want to say. Do you want to say "I am buying jeans and shirts"? or "I am going to buy jeans and shirts"?

That's what I was unsure of, "I am buying" or "I am going to buy". Since "ir" wasn't used in the original question I just assumed.... - Jack-OBrien, Nov 14, 2010

Okay. Remember that the simple conjugation can say that "you are doing something" as well as "you do something". Therefore, "I am buying jeans and a shirt" will be: "(Yo) compro pantalones vasqueros y una camisa" If you want to translate the idea of being actually in the process of buying the goods, you'll say: "(Yo) estoy comprando pantalones vasqueros y una camisa" But based on what you said you want to translate, the first one is better...

Hope it helps..
