The use of the gerund

Are these phrases correct

In the use of the gerund:

1)Él domingo me despierto temprano y paso la día haciendo mis deberes.

2)Muchos jóvenes pasan sus tiempo en la tchnología o jugando los deportes.

and also does él always have an accent on the e, if not when do you use it?

"Él" means "he" and is used in the same way as "he" in english. So él can't be put before the noun.

"El" without the accent is just article "the" of masculine form. So here you should write "El domingo" (without the accent).

el día (as it's masculine, remember: " Buenos Días ")
