Why subjunctive here? Juanes new song..... No regresas. It hurts me that you are silent (I guess?). Gracias.

I think, Jeezzle, it's for the same reason that we use subjunctive in, for example:
'Me alegro de que hayas ido a la fiesta' - because we have an emotional reaction to what the other person did.
