How do you translate "elegibility" in Spanish?

I know that the translation link here translastes it as "elegibilidad" but I suspect that there is a more propper way of saying it in Spanish.Here is a sentenece for context:

The US Goverment is encouraging people to take advantage of the current low interest rates for home loans. There is no cost options for "eligibility."

even though eligibilidad is widely used, I prefer ser seleccionado
