I guessing you are asking for correct verb conjugation (person and tense). Select the "More" button at the top of this web page and go to "Conjugation". You can then enter each verb and see the person and tense for each verb.

For more detail information, the Spanish 1 videos explain conjugation for regular verbs. To view the lessons, select the "Learn Spanish" at the top of this page and go to Learn Spanish 1. Several lessons in that series will present regular (and some irregular) verb conjugations.

Hope that helps! grin

Hi Mary, welcome to the forum. Your profile says you are a beginner in English and in Spanish. If this is true then it may be useful if you post your native language in your profile description as well.

Keown b has directed you to a wonderful resource at the site. It would be wise to use them. But I'll give you a short explanation of how regular verbs work.

Regular verbs are verbs which have so called "normal endings." With regular verbs to conjugate them you only need to have the infinitive form of the verb that you will remove the last two letters from and then add the "normal" endings to.

There are many tenses to consider, but if you are a beginner start with the present tense.

As for the words you have listed:

Cocinar is the infinitive verb meaning "to cook."

You would remove "ar" from cocinar to form:

Cocino - I cook

Cocinas - you cook

Cocina - he/she/it cooks

concinamos - we cook

Concináis - we cook (vosotros form)

Cocinan - they cook

Trabajo is both a conjugated verb and a noun, you can use the resources of the site to gain a further understanding. Trabajamos is one conjugated form of trabajar.
