Hi all,

Is there a Spanish equivalent for this English saying: "love me love my dog" ? (said to warn someone that if they want to be in a relationship with you, they must be willing to accept everything about you).

Thank you,

Carole

My suggestions:

Quiéreme tal como soy

Estar a las duras y a las maduras

Not very used but the very same thing:

Quien bien quiere a Beltrán, bien quiere a su can.

"Quien bien quiere a Beltrán, bien quiere a su can." is perfect. Thanks Heidita :-) - CaroleAR, Nov 11, 2010
Hello Heidita, Can we enter this expression into the Phrasebook? I'm asking because I don't know how it works? I guess you should enter it because you came up with the correct answer. Hasta luego :-) - CaroleAR, Nov 12, 2010

Just guessing, because I'm not sure of what this means.

I cannot think about something similar in Spanish, but I would say that is more or less like "Si me quieres, quiéreme entera"

Maybe: Quiéreme tal como soy. (I am understanding the post to mean essentially for richer, for poorer?) Never heard it before! raspberry
