Would you like to join me in my morning yoga and stretching exercises before I go for a dip?

¿Te gustaría acomparme en mis ejercicios matinales de estiramiento antes de ir a darme un chapuzón?

"que me acompañen" means "that they join me". Also, when you translate something like "my A and B (something)" you can't say "mi A y B de (cosa)". It's "mi (algo) de A y B". Finally, "ir para mi inmersión" sounds plain awkward :) - bill1111, Nov 11, 2010
"¿Te gustaría acompañarme en mis ejercicios matinales de estiramiento y yoga, antes de ir a darme un chapuzón? - bill1111, Nov 11, 2010
Bill, thanks for the help. If I make mistakes every day, I learn every day. - JoyceM, Nov 11, 2010
Hm.. no, it's not "te gustaría que acompañarme", but "te gustaría acomparme". You are mixing it up with the expressions used for other persons, like: "¿Te gustaría que te acompañe?". In second person it's: "¿Te gustaría acompañarme?", without 'que' - bill1111, Nov 11, 2010
Thanks! - JoyceM, Nov 11, 2010

Gracias Heidita. I'll go and do some revision on cuál vs qué later, plus I'll beat myself soundly for "LA problema" ;-) - Richard-Thomas, Nov 11, 2010

'Arctic' (by the way, wouldn't it be more appropriate to say 'in the Arctic'?) . Also 'frío', with 'tilde'. And being a little picky, 'podía' sounds better than 'pude'. - bill1111, Nov 11, 2010
Yeah ! that is what i need to know , maybe it is not used ?? the "A" i mean. - ray76, Nov 11, 2010
Bill, I had "podia" first but Heidita suggested "pude" - Brynleigh, Nov 11, 2010
No worries, both are ok I guess. - bill1111, Nov 11, 2010
My computer will not let me put the tilde on the "A" - Brynleigh, Nov 11, 2010
Try putting on the cap-lock then do it the way you normaly do. ´A, see it works, I only just found that out after your question, it just came to me ,and I have been trying for 9 months. - ray76, Nov 11, 2010
Just one thing: it's only spelled "Arctic" with that extra 'c' in English. In Spanish it's 'Ártico' - bill1111, Nov 11, 2010
Wha, I still cannot get the tilde to stick. - Brynleigh, Nov 11, 2010
I have the code and it still will not stick. I am going now to stick my head in the oven. jajaja - Brynleigh, Nov 11, 2010
Oh, thank you so very much, Heidita for coming to my rescue! It is a good thing I did not turn the oven on. lol - Brynleigh, Nov 11, 2010
It is probably just an internet rumor, but I have heard that the sticking-your-head-in-the-oven method is one of the most difficult ways for inserting the tildes. - webdunce, Nov 11, 2010

Yeah, "let's all go sit on some rocks in the sun." - JoyceM, Nov 11, 2010
I'm not sure how to do this. I don't want the bear saying the caption. And, this caption could apply to any photo of a person relaxing at the beach. Relajándose, maybe? - webdunce, Nov 11, 2010

¿Puedes rascarme la espalda, por favor? No alcanzo.

Again, it's picky, but in Spanish we don't use possesive determiners to talk about body parts: that's what the i.o pronoun is for: "¿Puedes rascarme la espalda?" - bill1111, Nov 11, 2010
