Tiene muchos nombres y eso sí, eso es uno de ellos. Para mi es un "lid". Did you put the lid on the drain? Pero estás en lo cierto con "plug". Gracias.

¿Dónde está Fontanero? I think most Americans would say drain plug or stopper.

either the manual stopper or an automatic faucet (grifo) that "plugs" itself off when washing your hands. (spring loaded)
