Funny business names

There's a business a few towns over that I frequently pass on the bus that has a large sign saying "Orar médicos especialistas". Maybe it's just me, but I prefer medical specialists that don't rely on praying.

Here are a couple of business slogans or signs that lost something in translation:
Chicken-man Frank Perdue's slogan, "It takes a tough man to make a tender chicken", got terribly mangled in a Spanish translation. A photo of Perdue with one of his birds appeared on billboards all over Mexico with a caption that explained "It takes a hard man to make a chicken aroused"
In an Acapulco hotel a sign read "The manager has personally passed all the water served here"

There was anad campaign by the bus line in LA that had a number of signs in English that were current slang phrases with meanings I won't post here. The campaign was about reading books making you smarter. - lorenzo9, Nov 10, 2010
