What does "pero y de donde aparece este moreno" mean?

The literal translation makes no sense to me. At first I thought it was questioning where the darkness came from (daylight savings time) but then "moreno" could be referring to skin color (!?) according to the internets.

Here moreno means a brown skinned or brown haired person. The adjective is being used as a noun.

But, and where did this brown skinned person appear from?

Hello I hope this helps you ,I live in the Dominican Republic and they use the term moreno for a brown person alot here ,mi morena, mi moreno ,its a general term for dark coloured person , they also call people mi negra, mi negro for a person with black skin .

I would translate this as But where did you see brown person ?
