How would this translate to English? My guess is "It would seem as if..."

I'm translating an audio, and he says "Pareciera como que nunca envejecen", which I think means, "It seems that they never age", but I am not 100% sure.

It seemed they never age. Pareciera is the imperfect subjunctive. Doesn't it seem wierd that envejecen is in the present though - daphne505, Nov 10, 2010
Yes, grammatically, it doesn't make sense,,,I thought perhaps the phrase might be an idiom. - antonioquieto, Nov 10, 2010

Can you give us a bit more of the audio prior to that? The conditional form of the word I think you're trying to spell is "pareceria", and pareciera (that you're saying) is something different entirely. If you give us more context, we might be able to figure out exactly what's being said.

Umh... una otra version podrìa ser "parecía que (ellos) no se han hecho viejos"... ¿ Podría estar bien lo mismo? could it be ok?
