Can anyone please explain the difference and when to use the word hablemos or hablamos....

I get confused, if I say Manana Hablamos I get corrected and told its Hablemos yet the same person will say hablamos luego....when should I use each one?

Many thanks

Steve

Hi Steve

Hablemos means "let us chat" whereas hablamos means we are talking or we spoke. The hablemos is a form of the "subjunctive" which changes the -ar endings to -er endings.

"Mañana hablamos"... is correct, it is used very often... on the other hand... "mañana hablemos"... in that order sounds very weird...

it could be "hablemos mañana"... but it's not that commonly said...

At least is not common in Mexico
