What does Tolomato stand for?

I work for Guana Tolomato Matanzas Research Reserve. Not one person can tell me what Tolomato means and I have been searching online for the answer. Maybe you have the answer?

Googling articles on the Reserve it would seem that Guana, Tolomato and Matanzo are the names of three rivers that converge. Are you looking for the origin of the Tolomato River name?
According to articles like this one the river was probably named after the Tolomato Indian tribe.
