I'm attempting to translate "Rudolf De Nariz Roja" into English.

What is the meaning of the following line?

"Simpre que el nos mira brilla su roja nariz."

He always shows us how his red nose shines?

Thank you.

Siempre que él nos mira brilla su roja nariz

Literally, "Whenever he looks at us his red nose shines"

They probably took some liberties with the lyrics to make the song rhyme.

They had to do that to match the music. - 00e657d4, Nov 8, 2010

I assume this is the equivilent of the "and if you ever saw him you would even say it glows" line in the english song.

Siempre may not mean always in this context due to the "que". This is the definition on this site
"conjunctive phrase 1. provided that, as long as siempre que ".

So this would be how I would take the sentence "Simpre que el nos mira brilla su roja nariz." As long as he looks at us his red nose glows/shines. (essentially that it glows all the time is the message).

Rudolph the red-nose reindeer... always had a shiny nose (loose translation, but that's the basics)
