I'm translating Rudolf De Nariz Roja to English.

What is "da un resbalon"?

Use: "Cuando jala al trineo, siempre da un resbalon?"

When he pulls the sleigh, he always . . .

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum

"siempre da un resbalón" = it always slips, or it always gives a slip (literally translated)

So your sentence would read: "Whenever he pulls the sleigh it always slips."
