I clicked the link that was sent with a verification code. However, it showed that this verification code couldn't be found.

I'm not an admin, but I can see your profile. In the upper right hand corner you should see your username and click on it to see your own profile after you log in, which should also be up in the right hand corner. Welcome to the forum.
